Sauger

The Sauger inhabits large streams, rivers, lakes and reservoirs throughout the state. They are well adapt to deep or turbid water and feed primarily on fishes, insects and crustaceans.

The Sauger has a slender torpedo shaped body with a large mouth filled with sharp teeth. Saddlelike markings can be found on the body and rows of dark spots on the first dorsal fin.

4 (only one over 20” or longer)
