Brown Trout

The Brown Trout can be found in cold water habitats of the Black Hills streams and impoundments. They feed primarily on fish, insects and crustaceans 

Brown Trout will be torpedo shapes with small scales and a large mouth. There are very few spots on the square tail (caudal) fin and will have black or maroon spots with lighter colored halos on a light background.
