Biking
The Black Hills’ Mickelsen Trail gets a lions’ share of the attention, but many state parks across have great bike trails and paths. Biking is a great way to share time with your family and get some exercise and nature exploration. Go for a stroll around a campground, or take advantage of the trails that pass through forested areas, open prairies and close to wildlife.
The following state parks have bike rentals available Farm Island, Lake Vermillion, George S. Mickelson Trail and Newton Hills.
